Portfolio Update – Down 2.12% in June 2011

My portfolio balances at close of trading on 30th June were:

Overall my portfolio is down 0.99% since last month, despite additional cash contributions. Without these cash contributions the portfolio would be down 2.12%.

For comparison the index is down 2.26%, the DOW is down 0.23% and the TSX is down 4.26%.

Increasing the bond component has aided capital preservation: the price of the bond fund is up 0.06% while the S&P fund that I exited is down 2.06%.
